Privatum is building private payments and safer self-custody for Robinhood Chain. Instead of putting an entire wallet behind one private key, Privatum splits control across your desktop, a policy-controlled co-signer, and a recovery key. Two of the three must agree before funds move, so a stolen laptop, leaked key, or compromised server cannot drain the wallet on its own. The wallet is built as a native desktop app for Windows, macOS, and Linux, with local encrypted storage rather than a browser extension. It is designed for sending, receiving, and swapping supported assets on Robinhood Chain, while making recovery possible through a passkey instead of a seed phrase. Under the hood, Privatum uses 2-of-3 threshold signing, ERC-4337 smart accounts, a co-signer that checks transactions before approving them, and an open TypeScript SDK for developers building on Robinhood Chain. Privacy features, including stealth payments, are part of the product direction as the stack continues to ship.
