MEC is the native utility token powering the MicroEX ecosystem—a hybrid cryptocurrency trading platform that combines the security of centralized exchanges (CEX) with the transparency of decentralized finance (DeFi). Designed to fuel platform operations and reward user participation, MEC plays a critical role in enabling a sustainable dual-token mining mechanism alongside MET. Users can stake MEC or MET to mine additional MEC tokens, creating an incentivized growth loop. In addition to mining, MEC is used for trading fee discounts, ecosystem governance, reward distribution, and unlocking future features within the MicroEX ecosystem. The token is distributed over a 10-year period with a carefully structured tokenomics model: 55% allocated to mining incentives and 45% to ecosystem development.
