FELICETTE

Félicette was a stray Parisian cat that became the first feline launched into space on 18 October 1963 as part of the French space program. She was one of 14 female cats trained for spaceflight. This is a tribute to a cat who bravely "ventured into the cosmos" to push science further. This cat literally sacrificed herself for science and has gone down in history. Thanks to her, we’ve made strides and advancements in space exploration.
